Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education is seeking a dedicated Risk, Compliance and WHS Officer for St Teresa's Catholic College in Noosaville. You will coordinate risk, compliance and WHS activities, maintain robust records, and advise College leadership to assure safe and compliant operations.

The role involves enabling practical risk controls, conducting inspections and risk assessments, and supporting WHS planning and emergencies across the College environment, to uphold student safety and staff

Qualifications

• Experience in workplace health and safety, risk management, governance or compliance.
• Ability to interpret legislation, regulations and BCE policies.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate risk, compliance and WHS programs across the College.
• Maintain WHS and compliance records, hazard and incident registers.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments and provide guidance to leadership and staff.
• Support WHS inductions, contractor pre-commencement documentation and training.
• Coordinate and support WHS committees and consultation processes.
• Assist with emergency planning and incident investigations.
