Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education Office invites applications for the Risk, Compliance and Work, Health & Safety Officer at St Joseph's Primary School, Childers. The role focuses on risk, compliance systems, WHS and supporting school safety.

You will develop and maintain systems, interpret legislation, deliver policy updates, conduct risk assessments, and support incident investigations across the school community. 12.0 hours per week; term time; permanent.

Qualifications

• Expertise in developing, maintaining and improving operational systems and processes.
• Strong understanding of legislation, regulations and guidelines applicable to schools.
• Ability to communicate policy updates clearly to diverse groups.
• Experience in managing and reporting on risk and compliance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, maintenance and operation of risk/compliance systems.
• Interpret legislation, regulations and guidelines for school operations.
• Deliver policy updates to staff, students and the school community.
• Facilitate risk assessments for school events and WHS matters.
• Assist investigations and health and safety documentation across schools.
