Leading Sydney architectural practice is seeking an Architectural Technician with strong Revit skills to produce Class 2 construction documentation for local multi-residential projects.
You will join a collaborative team, work on apartment projects, and be supported to develop towards Architectural Registration. Two years' local experience and Australian working rights are essential, with before-Christmas availability.
Experienced in Australian Class 2 apartment documentation and Revit? Join a supportive Sydney practice looking to hire before Christmas. Class 2 multi-residential construction documentation Experienced Architectural Graduate or Technician Minimum 2 years' local multi-residential experience Some people naturally gravitate towards the technical side of architecture. They enjoy documentation, solving problems and working out how a building actually goes together. That's exactly the type of person I'm looking for here. I'm recruiting for a Sydney architectural practice I've worked with for some time. They're looking for someone who's confident in Revit, understands Class 2 multi-residential projects and can sit down and get on with producing quality construction documentation. You could be an experienced Architectural Graduate who enjoys the technical side of projects, or someone who's developed their career through drafting and documentation. What is essential is that you've spent a minimum of two years working full-time in an Australian architectural practice, documenting local multi-residential projects. This isn't a role for someone looking to gain their first experience in Class 2.
One thing I've always liked about this practice is how much they support people who want to develop. You'll work alongside experienced Architects and Project Leads who are approachable and happy to share their knowledge. If you're an Architectural Graduate working towards Registration, there's an opportunity to build your experience and develop your career. But the immediate priority is documentation. They need someone who knows Revit, understands apartment projects and can contribute from the outset.
I've recruited for this practice before, and one thing that stands out is how much they support their people. If you're an Architectural Graduate with plans to become Registered, this could be a great environment to continue developing. Equally, if you enjoy being a Technician and want to focus on documentation, there's plenty of opportunity to do that. But right now, they're looking for someone who can sit down, open Revit and get on with producing Class 2 documentation. That experience needs to be there already. They're looking to make this appointment before Christmas, so things should move fairly quickly.
