Job summary

Daikin Australia seeks an experienced Return to Work Coordinator to drive injury management and timely return-to-work outcomes across our operations. You will partner with employees, managers, healthcare providers and insurers to develop tailored plans and monitor progress.

In this crucial role, you will ensure compliance with workers' compensation and WHS legislation while maintaining confidential case records and contributing to prevention initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Return-to-Work Coordination, injury management, workplace rehabilitation or workers' compensation.
  • Strong understanding of workers' compensation and workplace health and safety legislation.
  • Experience managing multiple injury cases and coordinating stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent case management and record-keeping capabilities.
  • The ability to influence, coach and support managers in best-practice injury management.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Return-to-Work Coordinator certification and experience within manufacturing, warehouse or industrial environments will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage workplace and non-work-related injury cases from notification through to closure.
  • Develop, implement and monitor tailored return-to-work plans in consultation with employees, leaders, healthcare providers and insurers.
  • Support injured employees throughout their recovery journey through regular communication and guidance.
  • Identify suitable duties and workplace modifications that facilitate safe rehabilitation and return-to-work outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with workers' compensation, workplace health and safety, privacy legislation and organisational policies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case records and documentation.
  • Prepare reports, analyse injury management trends and provide recommendations to support continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to injury prevention, wellbeing initiatives and return-to-work education programs across the business.
