Our comprehensive offerings across road, rail, and sea transport, alongside fuel distribution and specialised logistics subsidiaries, position us in a critical player in national and trans‑Tasman supply chains, serving a wide range of sectors from mining and agriculture to retail and industrial clients. With a proud 80-year history our brand is known for innovation, customer focus, continuous improvement, and industry leading safety. K&S Freighters maintains one of Australia’s largest company‑owned fleet, employing over 1600 personnel and headquartered in Truganina, Victoria.

The Opportunity:

Based in Enfield and reporting to the National Injury Manager (Melbourne), you’ll play a key role in supporting injured employees through their recovery and return‑to‑work journey. Working across SRCA (Comcare), state‑based workers’ compensation tail claims and our Early Intervention Program, you’ll partner with leaders, employees, insurers and rehabilitation providers to deliver positive rehabilitation outcomes while ensuring legislative compliance.

This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference to employee wellbeing while influencing positive return‑to‑work outcomes across a national business.

About You:

You’ll be an organised, proactive and compassionate professional with experience managing workers’ compensation and return‑to‑work programs.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation legislation, ideally including SRCA (Comcare) and self‑insurance.
  • Experience in occupational rehabilitation and working with rehabilitation providers.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and case management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • A professional, collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to health, safety and employee wellbeing.
Desirable:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Allied Health, Workplace Health & Safety, Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Return to Work Coordinator accreditation or relevant RTW training.
  • Experience within transport, logistics or another operational or industrial environment.

If you’re passionate about supporting employees through recovery and delivering positive return‑to‑work outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.

Why Join us:
  • Rewarding remuneration package
  • Novated car lease option
  • Salary sacrifice
  • Company funded parental leave bonus
  • Corporate health plan discount
  • Growth and development to support career progression
  • Employee recognition and rewards program
  • 24/7 Employee assistance program including financial wellness support
  • Background checks for all new employees to support our safe workplace
  • Stable ASX listed, multi-modal business with 80 years of industry history

To uphold our core value of “Everybody Safe Everyday” a pre‑employment medical and police check will be required to be successful in this role.

Applicants must have full Australian working rights. We are not engaging recruitment agencies for this role.
