Job summary

HXC Contracting Co Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled post installer for our civil and commercial concrete sleeper retaining-wall projects across South East Queensland. This dedicated role involves setting out posts, reading wall drawings and coordinating concrete pours alongside our crews.

You will operate excavators, verify post positions, ensure correct spacing and alignment, and maintain QA photos. An excavator ticket, proven precision installation experience and a White Card are essential.

Qualifications

• Reading wall drawings and setting out post positions from survey marks and levels.
• Using laser levels and stringlines to control alignment, heights and wall steps.
• Checking post sizes, lengths and pier readiness before installation.
• Operating excavators and working with the ground crew to position steel posts safely.
• Setting posts to the correct spacing, orientation, height and specified lean.

Responsibilities

• Checking post sizes, lengths and pier readiness before installation.
• Operating excavators and working with the ground crew to position steel posts safely.

• Coordinating concrete placement and checking post positions before, during and after the pour.
• Raising drawing or site conflicts early and completing basic measurements and QA photographs.
