K & B Timber & Hardware Pty Ltd in Mount Barker is seeking a part-time Garden Specialist Retail Team Member (30 hours per week) to join K&B Mitre 10. You will help customers select plants, maintain displays and process sales in a hands-on retail environment.

Ideal candidates have strong plant knowledge, gardening experience, and a friendly, customer-focused attitude, with reliable weekend availability and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of plants, gardening and outdoor products.
• Previous experience in a garden centre, nursery, landscaping, horticulture or a similar environment.
• A genuine passion for gardening and helping customers.
• A friendly, approachable and customer-focused attitude.
• Reliable availability to work a rotating roster, including every second weekend.
• Basic computer skills and confidence learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers with plant selection, gardening products and seasonal advice
• Maintaining healthy, well-presented plant displays
• Receiving, watering and caring for plant stock
• Processing sales through the POS system
• Creating customer orders and organising deliveries where required
• Maintaining pricing, signage and promotional displays
• Following safety procedures and helping keep the store clean and tidy

K&B Mitre 10 in Mount Barker is looking for a Garden Specialist Retail Team Member to join our team on a part-time basis (30 hours per week). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys sharing their garden knowledge, providing great customer service, and working in a hands-on retail environment.

You'll be a key part of our Garden Centre, helping customers find the right plants, products and advice for their next gardening project. This role works across a rotating roster and requires availability to work on the weekends.
