Job summary

Oscar Wylee is seeking a Store Manager for our Galleria store in Morley. You will lead and develop your team, take ownership of store performance and create an environment where exceptional customer care and strong commercial results go hand in hand.

No optical experience required; training provided. You\'ll work with optometrists to deliver seamless patient experiences, manage rosters, budgets and drive sales, with Sundays and Mondays off on a consistent roster.

At Oscar Wylee Galleria, we're looking for a Store Manager who knows that great results start with great people.

You're lead and develop your team, take ownership of store performance and create an environment where exceptional customer care and strong commercial results go hand in hand.

No optical experience? That's okay. Some of our most successful Store Managers joined us from outside the optical industry. We'll teach you the optical side while you bring your leadership, retail experience and passion for developing people.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead, coach and develop your team to perform at their best

Drive sales, KPIs and commercial performance through genuine customer care

Take ownership of day-to-day store operations, compliance and performance standards

Manage rosters, budgets and labour efficiency

Provide hands-on leadership across sales, service and the customer experience

Partner with our Optometrists to deliver a seamless experience for every patient

Build a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has previous leadership experience in retail – your job title isn't important; if you've coached people and driven results, we want to hear from you

Understands how to contribute to sales, KPIs and store performance

Has experience with, or exposure to, rostering, labour planning or store operations

Is passionate about coaching and developing people

Leads from the floor and enjoys being part of the customer experience

Is organised, proactive and comfortable making decisions

Wants to continue developing their commercial and leadership capability

No optical experience is required – we'll provide the training and support you need to learn optical retail.

Earnings

Base salary up to $65,000 + superannuation.

Our store is located within Galleria Shopping Centre in Morley, with Morley Bus Station nearby and free onsite parking available, making the daily commute convenient whether you're driving or using public transport.
