Job summary

PUMA Oceania is seeking a passionate and driven Retail Store Manager to lead our Harbourtown store on the Gold Coast. You will drive a world-class customer experience, lead a high-performing team, and manage operations to deliver profitable results.

In this role you’ll spend significant time on the shop floor, recruit and train staff, and collaborate with regional leadership to execute marketing initiatives while upholding Puma’s brand standards.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership with 2–4 years in a customer-focused retail environment (apparel/footwear preferred).
• Track record of exceeding sales targets while managing payroll and expenses.
• Experience in flagship or high-traffic locations and understanding their challenges.
• Ability to identify, develop and retain top-performing team members.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to inspire teams and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage complex operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and essential tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Roster and Area Manager to drive sales, operations and team performance.
• Spend 85% on the sales floor coaching the team and engaging customers.
• Lead recruitment, training and development of a high-performing team.
• Ensure each customer interaction aligns with Puma's service standards.
• Help manage inventory, loss prevention and store compliance.
• Support execution of marketing initiatives and uphold Puma’s visual identity.
• Foster a culture of development and future growth within Puma.
