Job summary

Platypus Shoes Singleton, NSW is seeking a Store Manager to lead a passionate team and drive sales targets in a busy retail environment. You’ll coach staff, manage rosters, monitor KPIs and ensure outstanding customer experiences every day.

Collaborate with the Area Manager to capitalise on growth opportunities, maintain visual merchandising standards, stock control and OH&S compliance. The role offers extensive training, team discounts and benefits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a high-volume retail environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with a results-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication and team development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive the store's sales targets, KPIs and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver sales and customer service excellence.
• Monitor sales metrics daily, weekly and monthly and act on opportunities for improvement.
• Manage rosters and wage costs in line with targets and operational needs.
• Coach and develop team members, ensuring training, morale and succession planning.
• Oversee stock levels, store presentation and operational excellence.
• Ensure adherence to OH&S standards and legislation.
