Job summary

Platypus Shoes Oran Park is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a passionate team and deliver outstanding customer experiences in a high-volume retail environment.

You will coach and develop staff, drive sales, manage stock and Visual Merchandising, while partnering with the Area Manager to grow the business. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as Store Manager or Assistant Manager in high-volume retail.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
• Strong sales focus with KPI and customer experience emphasis.
• Experience with stock management, operations, and visual merchandising.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Monitor sales and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage rosters and wage costs in line with targets.
• Coach team members and ensure ongoing training and morale.
• Oversee stock levels, store presentation and operations.
• Ensure OH&S standards and compliance.
