Job summary

Platypus Shoes West Lakes is seeking a Store Manager to lead a busy, high-profile store. You will coach a casual team alongside an Assistant Store Manager, drive sales and KPIs, and deliver an outstanding customer experience in a dynamic retail environment.

Work closely with the Area Manager to identify growth opportunities, manage rosters and wage costs, maintain visual merchandising, and ensure OH&S compliance while building a positive, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Store Manager or Assistant in high-volume retail.
• Strong leadership with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and team development skills.
• Ability to drive sales and manage store performance.

Responsibilities

• Drive the overall performance of the store by achieving sales targets, KPIs, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Lead and motivate your team to deliver outstanding results in sales and customer service.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales, celebrating wins and identifying areas for improvement.
• Manage rosters and wage costs in line with company targets and operational needs.
• Coach and develop team members, ensuring ongoing training, high morale, and strong succession planning.
• Oversee stock levels, store presentation, and operational excellence.
• Ensure adherence to OH&S standards and legislation.
