Job summary

M4 WEST PTY LTD (T/A Oporto M4 WEST) seeks a dedicated Retail Store Manager for their popular Oporto store in Eastern Creek, NSW. You will lead a busy team, drive sales, and ensure outstanding customer service while managing costs and stock levels.

The role offers full-time permanent employment with a competitive salary range AUD 79,000–85,000, plus employee discounts and opportunities for growth in a well-known food brand family.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management experience (at least 1 year) in food store.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A head for figures with budgeting and targets experience.
• High level of food safety awareness.
• Flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for day to day management of our busy store including leading and motivating a team to ensure customer satisfaction, quality products, and efficient operations.
• Controlling costs on a day-to-day basis to improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety and security standards.
• Monitor daily sales performance and adjust staffing levels accordingly.
• Manage inventory and ordering of supplies, ensuring that the store is adequately stocked.
• Train new hires on proper food handling techniques, customer service protocols, and cash register operation.
• Handle customer complaints in a professional manner, resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase store traffic and revenue.
• Maintain accurate records of employee timecards, payroll, and other administrative tasks.
• Oversee the preparation of Burgers, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and other menu items.
• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring proper storage and handling per health regulations.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment and facilities, reporting issues to management.
• Promote and advertise the store in the local area.
