Job summary

Freedom Fuels in Withcott, Queensland is seeking a Site Manager to own and lead a busy retail site. You’ll drive day-to-day operations across fuel, convenience and food, coach a high-performing team and deliver outstanding customer experiences.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety and compliance, while balancing people leadership with strong commercial performance. There are growth opportunities within our expanding retail network as Freedom Fuels continues to grow.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in retail, convenience, food or fuel.
• Proven ability to manage people and deliver strong operational and commercial results.
• A practical, hands-on leadership style.
• Confidence managing competing priorities in a busy customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coach, motivate and hold people accountable.

• Food service experience is highly regarded, but not essential if you're willing to learn.

You know how to lead from the front, bring the best out of a team and keep a busy retail operation running smoothly. You’re comfortable making decisions, solving problems and taking ownership of the results.

Freedom Fuels is looking for a Site Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our retail site in Withcott, and create a place where customers want to stop, refuel, recharge and come back again.

This is a genuine hands‑on leadership role. You’ll take ownership of your site, your team, the customer experience and its commercial performance — balancing people leadership with the practical realities of running a fast‑paced fuel, convenience and food retail operation.

And as Freedom Fuels continues to grow, there’s plenty of opportunity to grow with us. We’re big believers in developing our people, with team members progressing from our retail sites into site leadership, area roles and opportunities across our Support Office.

Applicants must have a valid entitlement to work in Australia and be 18 years or older at commencement due to restrictions/requirements relating to the sale of particular products.

This position involves manual handling duties, requiring the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20 kg occasionally and 16 kg regularly, in accordance with safe work practices.
