Job summary

Trident Services Australia is seeking Security Officers for Townsville Shopping Centre. You will maintain a visible security presence, assist shoppers and retailers, and respond to incidents in a fast-paced retail environment while delivering exceptional customer service and a welcoming atmosphere.

You must hold a QLD Security Licence with Crowd Control, current First Aid and CPR certificates, and you should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, a customer-first attitude, and

Qualifications

• QLD Security Licence with Crowd Control
• First Aid and CPR certificates
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer-first attitude and professional presentation
• Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster
• Retail or other regulated environments experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and front-line support
• Maintain a strong and professional security presence throughout the centre
• Identify and respond proactively to potential safety and security risks
• Respond to medical, security, and emergency incidents in line with site procedures
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily documentation
• Apply conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques effectively
• Liaise professionally with retailers, centre management, and emergency services
