Job summary

Securecorp is seeking experienced Control Room Operators to join our retail security team at Chatswood Chase in Sydney. This role offers Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual opportunities with flexible rosters to suit your lifestyle, combining visible security with excellent customer service.

You will monitor CCTV, respond to incidents, assist customers and retailers, and liaise with management and emergency services, contributing to a safe retail environment.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Security Licence is required.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Retail security experience is valued but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-visibility patrols throughout the retail centre.
• Monitor CCTV and respond promptly to incidents, alarms and emergencies.
• Maintain a professional security presence while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Monitor access points and enforce site policies, procedures and security requirements.
• Assist customers and retailers with enquiries, directions and general assistance.
• Liaise professionally with Centre Management, retailers, emergency services and contractors.
• Identify and report hazards, suspicious behaviour and security risks.
• Complete accurate and timely incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Assist with emergency evacuations, incidents and other emergency situations.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, presentation and conduct at all times.
