Job summary

AIRR, part of Elders, invites applications for a permanent, full-time Retail Sales Representative in rural Victoria. You will apply your product knowledge and customer service skills to build relationships with clients and identify new opportunities.

You will support inventory, process sales, prepare quotes, and assist with stock handling while upholding safety standards. A driver’s license is required; forklift license preferred.

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Sales Representative to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis.

As a Retail Sales Representative, your expert product knowledge and customer service skills will enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including finding new opportunities for them to explore.

Having a deep passion for the rural lifestyle, you will come equipped with an understanding of the products and services needed to support and build local agricultural businesses of all sizes as well as the communities around them.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, recommending the range of products and services that will strengthen the growth of their business.
• Support inventory management, including stocktake and safe dispatch of retail products.
• Process sales transactions and prepare sales quotes for clients.
• Assist with storage, handling, and receiving of stock, adhering to safety standards.

About you

Thrive in a collaborative working environment and enjoy working as part of a team.

Are passionate about making a positive impact for clients and the community.

Can demonstrate a proven track record in sales and possess strong retail skills.

Capable of delivering high levels of customer service and cultivating relationships with current and prospective clients.

Hold a valid driver's licence (forklift licence preferred).
