Job summary

Elders AIRR Moruya Ag, Horse & Pet store is seeking a hands-on Retail Store Manager to lead a local team, drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service within the rural community. You will work across agricultural products, equine supplies and pet care, ensuring strong relationships with customers, suppliers and local stakeholders.

You will coach and develop staff, manage inventory, merchandising and financial performance while adhering to safety and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail or agricultural store management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop and support team members.
• Excellent customer service, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Sound financial, commercial and operational management capabilities.
• Knowledge of rural and agricultural products, services and customer needs.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and point-of-sale technology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Current unrestricted driver's licence and forklift licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on agricultural products, rural supplies and farming solutions to meet customer needs.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation, pricing accuracy and promotional compliance in line with AIRR/Elders brand standards.
• Oversee inventory management, stock control and stocktake activities to ensure product availability.
• Plan and manage stock levels around seasonal agricultural cycles, customer demand and local market conditions.
• Ensure the safe handling, storage and dispatch of agricultural products, bulk goods and equipment in accordance with safety and compliance requirements.
• Monitor store performance, support business development opportunities and maintain compliance with operational, financial and WHS procedures.

About the role
