Petstock is hiring for a store role where you will deliver outstanding customer service and expert product knowledge for pets. You will engage with customers to recommend care and products while helping maintain attractive, well-stocked shelves. The role supports a positive, safety-minded team environment in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• Passion for animals and providing excellent customer service.
• Experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and team.
• Physically able to lift products up to 20 kg.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and create memorable interactions with customers.
• Educate customers on pet care and product recommendations.
• Complete sales transactions and strive to reach store sales goals.
• Maintain high store presentation and replenish stock as needed.
• Keep up-to-date with pet care knowledge and products.

• Provide exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions
• Through the knowledge you gain, you will inspire and educate customers on the best care and products for their pets
• Complete memorable sales transactions, aiming to reach set store sales goals
• Maintain a consistently high standard of store presentation while ensuring that new stock is promptly and accurately displayed whilst also ensuring we are replenishing our stock
• Demonstrate initiative by actively keeping your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services current
• Contribute to a fun, supportive culture instore where the team loves coming to work each and every day
• Strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team

• Knowledge of horses and livestock preferred
