Job summary

Petstock Colac is seeking passionate retail team members to deliver exceptional customer service for pets and their people. You will assist customers in selecting the right products, share practical care tips, and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere that pets love and owners trust.

This role offers development opportunities across Petstock Group, paid leave options, mental health and wellbeing support, and corporate discounts.

Qualifications

• Passion for animals and customer service.
• Experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to lift products up to 20 kg.
• Weekend and public holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions.
• Educate customers on pet care and products based on knowledge gained.
• Complete sales transactions and work toward store sales goals.
• Maintain store presentation and ensure new stock is displayed and stocked.
• Keep knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services.

A Peek Into Your Petstock Day

• Provide exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions
• Through the knowledge you gain, you will inspire and educate customers on the best care and products for their pets
• Complete memorable sales transactions, aiming to reach set store sales goals
• Maintain a consistently high standard of store presentation while ensuring that new stock is promptly and accurately displayed whilst also ensuring we are replenishing our stock
• Demonstrate initiative by actively keeping your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services current
• Contribute to a fun, supportive culture instore where the team loves coming to work each and every day
• Strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team
