Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Retail Property Management Accounting professional in Australia to own financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of retail properties. You will work within CBRE’s Retail Property Management Accounting team, handling monthly reporting, budgeting, reconciliations and stakeholder engagement to deliver accurate financial outcomes.

The role offers exposure to balance sheet analysis, P&L commentary and forecasting with support from experienced property finance professionals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Customer-focused approach and stakeholder capability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and reporting.
• Analyse property performance and provide variance commentary.
• Prepare outgoings reconciliations, budgets and wash-ups.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Manage percentage rent, extended trade and tenant calculations.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis, budgets and forecasting.
• Outgoings and direct recovery accruals including operating expenditure accruals, income accruals and analysis.
• Managing relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
