Job summary

Australia Post is hiring a Retail Postage Sorter in Western Australia. You will manually sort mail and parcels, work Monday to Friday 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with a pay rate of $33.46 per hour plus 12% superannuation. Eligible for up to $2,760 district allowance, uniform provided and annual shoe allowance.

About the opportunity

As our Retail Postage Sorter, you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail and parcels comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day – and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.

• Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 5:00 pm
• Pay rate $33.46+ 12% superannuation
• Up to $2,760 district allowance
• Uniform provided plus you’ll have access to an annual shoe allowance

You’ll be

• Manually sorting all mail and parcels arriving at the workplace

About you

• You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves working in a team environment.
• You’re motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community.

You’ll also need to

• Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting
• Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly and stand for your shift
