Job summary

ScaleUp Technologies is seeking experienced Retail POS Technicians to support major retail customers across Sydney and Melbourne. This on demand project and ticketed support role involves POS hardware/software deployment, break-fix, and site upgrades, with travel to local locations and strong customer-facing duties.

You will install, configure and troubleshoot POS devices, EFTPOS, printers and back-office systems, while documenting work and meeting SLAs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with retail technology environments.
• Experience with POS systems and peripheral devices.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and basic networking.
• Knowledge of retail infrastructure, store systems and payment devices.
• Experience in a field service or customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full driver\'s licence and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

We are seeking experienced Retail POS Technicians to support major retail customers across Sydney and Melbourne This is an exciting opportunity for hands-on technicians who enjoy combining field service, hardware installations, troubleshooting, and customer-facing technical support.

Working on project-based deployments and ticket-driven break-fix activities, you will play a key role in installing, maintaining, and supporting Point of Sale (POS) environments across a variety of retail sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration and deployment of POS hardware and software
• Break-fix support for retail store technology and peripherals
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network-related issues
• Support POS terminals, scanners, receipt printers, EFTPOS devices and back-office systems
• Complete site upgrades, refresh projects and technology rollouts
