Job summary

True Blue Garden Centre in Toowoomba, Queensland, is seeking an experienced nursery retail assistant to deliver inviting, friendly customer service to our gardeners.

You will bring in-depth horticultural knowledge relevant to Toowoomba and surrounds, train and assist customers, maintain plant displays, monitor plant health, and operate POS and stock ordering systems. Weekend roster will be required as we open seven days.

Qualifications

• Technical training (Cert III or above) in horticulture, agriculture, landscape or similar field.
• 3+ years recent work experience in horticulture, landscaping or similar field.
• Detailed knowledge of plants, soil, fertilisers and growing techniques.
• Professional and friendly with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service.
• Responsible and punctual
• Familiarity with POS and stock ordering systems
• LR License advantageous

We are seeking an experienced nursery retail assistant to provide inviting, friendly customer service to our consumers. Our ideal candidate will have in-depth horticultural knowledge applicable to Toowoomba and surrounds gained through training and/or work experience in the region and will be able to demonstrate excellent personal skills.

Our business operates seven days a week so a roster including weekend work should be expected.
