Job summary

The Springs Home & Garden in Toowoomba is seeking a Nursery Sales Specialist to join our busy retail nursery team on a full-time basis. Deliver expert customer service, advise on plant selection, care and garden solutions, and help with stock, displays and merchandising.

The role requires a Certificate I in Horticulture (or equivalent) and proven retail sales experience, with a customer-first attitude and ability to work outdoors.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience in horticulture or garden retail.
• Strong plant knowledge and customer-first attitude.
• Ability to perform physical outdoor tasks and work weekends if required.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Nursery Sales Specialist to join our busy retail nursery team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional customer service and expert advice on plant selection, care, and garden solutions.
• Assisting with daily nursery operations, including stock maintenance, watering, merchandising, and displays.

• Maintaining high standards of presentation and stock health across the nursery floor.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience & Education: Certificate I or higher in Horticulture (or equivalent industry experience).
• Plant Knowledge & Sales Focus: Proven retail sales experience paired with strong general plant knowledge.
• Physical Capability: Ability to comfortably perform physical, manual tasks (lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors in varying weather).
• Professionalism: Exceptional personal presentation, strong attention to detail, and a warm, customer-first attitude.
