Job summary

Fitness Cartel Australia & New Zealand is launching a brand-new Strathpine club and invites expressions of interest for a Retail Manager to lead the Pro-Shop and Barbell Café, driving sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You’ll supervise and coach the retail team, manage rosters, stock, promotions and social content, and collaborate with the Customer Service Manager and Club GM to establish strong operations at launch.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail sales supervisory experience in fitness/nutrition/supplements
• Experience in KPI-driven sales environments and achieving targets
• Strong communication and rapport-building abilities
• Customer-focused, solutions-oriented approach
• Proven ability to coach, motivate and lead a team
• Passion for health, fitness and Fitness Cartel brand
• Proactive, reliable, detail-oriented
• Computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems
• Flexible, initiative-taking and able to multitask
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Australian working rights

Expression of Interest: Retail Manager - Strathpine

Fitness Cartel Health Clubs is bringing a brand-new club to Strathpine, and we’re seeking expressions of interest from experienced Retail Managers who want to help launch and grow an exciting new facility.

We’re more than a gym. With plans to expand to 60+ clubs by 2030, our state-of-the-art facilities include Cycle Studios, Reformer Pilates, cafés, crèches, saunas and premium training spaces.

The Role

Retail Managers are a key part of the "engine room" of our clubs. As the face of the Pro-Shop and Barbell Café, you’ll lead the retail team, maximise sales opportunities and help deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You’ll work closely with the Customer Service Manager and Club General Manager to establish strong retail operations at our new Strathpine location.

Key Responsibilities
