Job summary

Black Vfw Enterprises Pty Ltd in Sydney, NSW is seeking a Retail Manager to lead our store team and drive sales while ensuring outstanding customer service and adherence to brand standards. You will oversee daily store operations including inventory, merchandising, promotions, and staff scheduling; recruit, train, and develop staff; and liaise with leadership to meet budgets and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, at least two years in retail management, and flexible

• A minimum of two years recent, relevant years of experience in a retail management position.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekend

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of retail sales associates, ensuring high levels of customer service, handling customer complaints and staff engagement
• Oversee store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, presentation and growth.
• Organizing displays, promotions, and stock replenishment.
• Managing daily store activities, including sales, inventory, and staff scheduling.
• Recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating team members
• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the customer experience
• Monitoring budgets, sales targets, and expenses
• Work closely with the leadership team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
• Liaise with management and other stakeholders to share insights and support the overall business objectives
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing coaching and development opportunities for the team.
• Ensure strict compliance with Johnny Gio's Pizza franchise standards, operational procedures, brand requirements, customer service expectations, food safety protocols, and quality assurance standards across all areas of the business.
