Ajay Traders Pty Ltd t/a United Perth South in Perth, Tasmania is seeking a full-time Retail Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations, manage stock, pricing, budgets, and lead a small team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, sales analysis, and compliance with OH&S regulations; minimum AQF diploma, 3+ years in a similar role; strong leadership and planning skills needed.

• 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in the relevant field.

Our client, Ajay Traders Pty Ltd t/a United Perth South operates a United Dealer fuel station and a convenience store. The client is focused on providing Australians, quality fuels at competitive prices whilst exceeding customers' expectations with exceptional service. The client is looking for a highly motivated full time Retail Manager who has a passion for retail, a love of customers and a drive to deliver results to join the team in business. You will be responsible for complete management of the store with a focus on customer service, operational efficiency, cost control and growth and help drive the seamless execution and delivery of key business imperatives through our retail network.

The managerial and administrative aspect of your role will encompass determining product mix, stock levels and service standards, selling goods, maintaining records of stock, financial transactions and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Minimum requirement

• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in the relevant field
• 3+ years' experience in a similar role.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deal with queries, complaints and feedback from customers.
• Analyse sales figures and forecasting future sales
• Maintain awareness of market trends and monitoring competitors.
• Maintain records of financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Oversee all operational aspects of the store such as stock control & rosters

Skills & Qualities Required:
