Job summary

TerryWhite Chemmart Yeronga is seeking a hands-on Retail Manager to lead a busy team on the shop floor. This part-time leadership role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, managing stock, and maintaining merchandising standards.

You will mentor a high-performing team, monitor store performance, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership or management experience in community pharmacy
• Strong customer service skills and a commitment to positive customer experiences
• Experience with performance management and team development
• Sound inventory, stock control, merchandising, and store presentation experience
• An understanding of retail KPIs, sales performance, and profitability
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• A genuine commitment to supporting your local community

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing retail team through hands-on leadership
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support the team on the shop floor
• Oversee daily store operations, merchandising, catalogue execution, and presentation standards
• Manage performance, training, and ongoing development.
• Maintain retail compliance and ensure the team is informed on current products and promotions.
• Manage stock control, inventory processes, and retail performance targets
• Resolve customer enquiries professionally and maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming store environment

About the Role

This is a part-time leadership opportunity.

In this highly visible leadership role, you will lead by example on the shop floor, actively engaging with customers and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for driving retail sales and profitability, overseeing stock management and inventory control, maintaining merchandising standards, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements. You will also play a key role in fostering a positive and productive workplace culture while supporting the achievement of retail and operational objectives
