We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to lead our retail operations, inspire team performance, and drive business success.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on retail leader who enjoys serving customers, leading from the front, developing people, and thriving in a fast-paced community pharmacy environment while creating exceptional in-store experiences. We're looking for someone who is happy to roll up their sleeves, work alongside their team, and support stock management operations when required.

About the Role

As Retail Manager, you will lead a high-performing team within a busy, fast-paced pharmacy and retail environment, overseeing day-to-day store operations, while ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service. This is a highly visible leadership role where you will lead by example on the shop floor, actively engage with customers, and foster a positive workplace culture while achieving retail and operational objectives.

You will also work closely with the Stock Controller and be capable of stepping into stock management responsibilities during periods of leave or absence, ensuring continuity of operations and inventory accuracy.

About You

You're a people-focused leader who enjoys being on the shop floor, empowering your team, and leading by example. You genuinely enjoy helping customers and understand that great retail leadership comes from being actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the business.

You will bring:

• Proven experience leading, motivating, and developing retail teams
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating positive customer experiences
• Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing demands, and perform effectively in a fast-paced retail or pharmacy environment
• A hands-on leadership style with a willingness to support the team wherever needed
• Confidence in managing rosters, performance, and training
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Clear, effective communication
• The ability to resolve customer issues with empathy and professionalism

• Understanding of retail KPIs and performance-driving strategies
• Experience in inventory management, stock control, merchandising, and store presentation
