Job summary

TerryWhite Chemmart in Cooroy on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant to join our team, delivering a welcoming, professional experience for every customer.

This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with weekend roster flexibility; no weekend work is also possible for the right candidate.

You will support day-to-day operations, assist customers with OTC medicines, maintain store presentation, and use pharmacy systems to serve the community.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in community pharmacy is preferred but not essential.
• Previous customer service experience is highly regarded.
• Eagerness to learn and develop your skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused mindset.
• Enjoy helping customers and supporting colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and support retail sales.
• Assist customers with over-the-counter medicines where appropriate.
• Maintain a high standard of merchandising and store presentation.
• Support day-to-day pharmacy operations, including housekeeping and stock awareness.
• Use pharmacy systems and computers confidently.
• Manage multiple tasks in a busy and varied environment.
• Exercise excellent communication skills to assist customers and appropriately manage and filter enquiries.

About the Role

This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, and we welcome applicants of all experience levels. While our preference is for a full-time team member who can participate in a weekend roster, the weekend shifts are short and contribute to a highly flexible, work-life-friendly schedule. We are also open to part-time arrangements, including no weekend work, for the right candidate.

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be one of the first points of contact for our customers, playing a key role in delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming, professional, and positive pharmacy experience for every customer who walks through our doors

In this role, you will:
