Job summary

Pack & Send Preston is seeking a versatile Retail Customer Service & Freight Co-ordinator to join our team in Preston, VIC. You will manage end-to-end shipping, assist customers, and ensure accurate pricing and tracking of consignments.

The role requires strong communication, good computer skills, and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. On-site, with morning/afternoon shifts and potential on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
• Secondary School or Cert IV in Retail/Business (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weighing, measuring, and consigning packages to ensure correct pricing and safe transport.
• Utilising professional packaging techniques to secure consignments.
• Handling over-the-counter sales, telephone inquiries, and online estimate requests with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Tracking and tracing consignments and providing delivery confirmations to clients.
• Managing administrative tasks and maintaining store equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and delivery drivers.
