Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Assistant Transaction Manager in Sydney to drive leasing and transaction management across a retail portfolio. You will support market rent reviews, lease renewals, site selections and divestments while coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely documentation and effective action on key lease dates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in transactions, leasing or related property services.
• Tertiary qualification in Property or Real Estate.
• Current Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration.

Responsibilities

• Support leasing and transaction management across a retail portfolio.
• Prepare Options Papers, Site Searches and Market Sweeps with data-driven insights.
• Prepare Lease Approval Forms and ensure documentation is compliant and timely.
• Coordinate market rent reviews and negotiate terms with landlords/agents.
• Manage lease options, renewals and renegotiations for optimal terms.
• Support site selection and due diligence, providing market intelligence.
• Oversee divestment activities for leased sites and make-good negotiations.
• Maintain a forward-looking calendar of lease dates and critical events.
• Champion transaction technology and drive adoption of digital tools.
