Universal Store in Queensland is seeking a driven Assistant Store Manager to work closely with the Store Manager, mirroring responsibilities and growing into a leadership role within the business.

You will lead store operations, coach a highly performing team, and drive sales while delivering exceptional customer experiences. The role includes managing the Sunday–Thursday roster and maintaining brand standards across the store.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in retail (Shift Supervisor / 2IC).
• Strong sales focus with ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Warm, confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
• Strong operational understanding — VM, stock, store standards.
• Flexible, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to brand presentation.
