Loulou Production facility in North Sydney, part of Etymon Projects Pty Ltd, is seeking a reliable Retail & Kitchen Production Assistant to join our team. This full-time role features early starts and daily delivery preparation, packing and stock organisation to support daily operations and retail activities.

Reporting to the kitchen and logistics teams, you will help prepare orders, check quality, and keep production areas clean and efficient while meeting daily deadlines in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with the ability to work early morning shifts.
• Organised and able to meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience in food production, bakery, kitchen, packing, warehousing or logistics is beneficial but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Pick, organise and pack bakery and kitchen products into daily orders.
• Prepare completed orders for collection by delivery drivers.
• Pack products into bags and packaging for retail sale.
• Check orders for accuracy, presentation and quality.
• Assist with organising and preparing orders for upcoming days.
• Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation and production duties.
• Wash, clean and maintain kitchen equipment and prep areas.
• Weigh, check and store supplies; keep areas clean and efficient.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and safety requirements; meet daily production and dispatch deadlines.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hands on Retail & Kitchen Production Assistant to join our team at the Loulou Production facility in North Sydney.

Located just one minute from Victoria Cross Metro Station, our production facility supports the Loulou bakery and venues across Sydney, preparing, packing and organising freshly made products for daily delivery and retail.

This is a full time, Monday to Friday position, with mandatory early starts. Working hours vary depending on production and delivery requirements, but are generally around 3:30am to 11:30am.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys early starts, working as part of a team and taking pride in getting products prepared, packed and ready for the day ahead.

What You'll Be Doing

Working closely with our bakery, kitchen and logistics teams, you will help ensure our products are prepared, packed and ready for delivery and retail each day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking, organising and packing bakery and kitchen products into daily orders
• Preparing completed orders for collection by our delivery drivers
• Packing products into bags and packaging ready for retail sale
• Checking orders for accuracy, presentation and quality
• Assisting with organising and preparing orders for upcoming days
• Supporting the kitchen team with basic food preparation and production duties
• Washing, cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils and food preparation areas
• Assisting with weighing, checking and storing supplies
• Keeping production, kitchen and packing areas clean, organised and efficient
• Following all food safety, hygiene, health and safety requirements
• Working closely with the team to meet daily production and dispatch deadlines

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to consistently work early morning shifts
• Comfortable with mandatory early starts from around 3:30am
• Organised and able to work efficiently to daily deadlines
• Detail focused and takes pride in accuracy
• Comfortable working on your feet in a fast paced production environment
• Self motivated and able to work independently when required
• Happy to get involved across both kitchen production and retail packing duties
• A team player who enjoys working in a supportive environment

Previous experience in food production, bakery, kitchen, packing, retail, warehousing or logistics would be beneficial, but is not essential for the right person.
