Job summary

Yalla Foods Pty Ltd is seeking reliable, hands-on individuals to join the busy production team in Botany, Sydney. This casual role covers various production stages from ingredient prep to packing and cleaning, with a five-day Monday–Friday schedule.

You will work across different areas as needed, showing flexibility, teamwork and a strong focus on food safety. Prior kitchen or food production experience is preferred, and immediate start is required.

• Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and carrying buckets and mixing bowls

Responsibilities

• Filling, sealing, labelling and packing finished products
• Moving racks of finished products into the coolroom for cooling
• Preparing and handling ingredients and assisting with cooking and food production
• Operating and assisting with production equipment
• Washing and cleaning pots, utensils and food production equipment
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
• Assisting in different production areas as required

Casual | Monday to Friday availability essential | 30+ hours per week | $32.18–$33.05 per hour

Yalla Foods Pty Ltd is an established Australian food manufacturer based in Botany, Sydney. We produce a wide range of quality food products, including dips, desserts, yoghurts, soups and ready-made meals, supplying major supermarkets, independent retailers and food service businesses across Australia.

About the Role

We are looking for reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic people to join our busy food production team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in a variety of production activities, from preparing ingredients through to filling, sealing, packing and cleaning.

Our team works together across different stages of production, assisting where needed to keep things running smoothly. Depending on the day's production requirements, you may work on one task for an extended period or assist in other areas.

We're looking for people who enjoy practical work, are willing to learn different skills and have a flexible, team-focused attitude.

Applicants must be available to work all five weekdays, Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Filling, sealing, labelling and packing finished products

What We’re Looking For

Knowledge of GMP, HACCP or food safety procedures is an advantage, but training will be provided.

• Casual position offering 30+ hours per week
• Must be available Monday to Friday, five days per week
• Availability must not be restricted by study or other regular commitments
• Occasional Saturday shifts may be required
• Must have valid working rights in Australia
• Must be available to start immediately
