Job summary

Sydney Cigar House is seeking an analytical Systems Analyst to support development and improvement of its retail ICT systems across multiple locations. You will analyze POS, inventory, product database, internal management and e-commerce workflows to identify improvements.

Collaborate with management, staff and developers to translate business needs into technical specs, participate in testing, and ensure system integration and ongoing optimization across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT-related field.
• Proven experience in Systems Analysis and ICT Business Analysis.
• Experience with POS, inventory, product database and e-commerce systems.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Experience with system integration and API-based functionality.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing ICT systems across POS, inventory, product database and e-commerce to identify deficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Consult with management, staff and inventory personnel to document requirements and translate operational needs into specifications.
• Design and document system solutions including workflows, interfaces, data flows and APIs.
• Maintain and improve product and inventory databases supporting SKUs and location-specific inventory.
• Develop backend functionality for product, inventory, pricing, settlement and reporting.
• Create and enhance internal management and POS interfaces for staff and managers.
• Analyze ICT functionality across multiple locations and ensure centralized data and transfers between sites.
• Develop test plans and conduct UAT before deploying changes.
