The ideal candidate has 5+ years BA experience in retail/multi-site environments, strong POS knowledge, master data management, and proven ability to map processes, analyze data and facilitate workshops to drive data‑driven

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst on technology or transformation projects.
• Retail sector experience in multi-site environments.
• Understanding of POS and store technology landscape.
• Strong Master Data Management experience with product, pricing, store and supplier data.
• Experience deploying technology across multiple stores/sites.
• Knowledge of store system integrations with enterprise platforms.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and workshop facilitation.
• Data analysis skills for trends and data-driven decisions.
• Experience with data mapping, reconciliation, migration activities.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements across retail technology initiatives.
• Work across POS and store‑based technology systems, understanding integrations and dependencies across the broader retail ecosystem.
• Support technology and system deployments across a large network of stores.
• Work closely with Store Operations, Technology, Product, Vendors and Deployment teams to coordinate delivery.
• Map current and future‑state business processes, system flows and operational workflows.
• Analyse data to identify trends, issues and opportunities to improve store operations and technology performance.
• Define data requirements, mappings and validation rules across systems and integrations.
• Support data analysis and reconciliation activities throughout project delivery.
• Facilitate workshops with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• We are partnering with a leading retail organisation looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a portfolio of technology and data initiatives across its store network.
• This is a hands‑on BA role working across retail systems, store technology, data and deployment activities, partnering with Technology, Operations and business stakeholders to deliver solutions into a large, distributed store environment.
• The ideal candidate will understand how technology operates at store level and have experience across POS, retail systems, integrations and technology deployments, combined with enough data capability to analyse information, identify issues and support data‑driven decision making.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst across technology or transformation projects.
• Strong experience within Retail, QSR, Hospitality or another large multi‑site environment.
• Understanding of Point of Sale (POS) and the broader store technology landscape.
• Strong Master Data Management experience, with an understanding of how critical retail data such as product, pricing, store, menu and supplier data is governed, maintained and distributed across POS and downstream systems
• Experience supporting technology deployments or system rollouts across multiple stores/sites.
• Good understanding of how store systems integrate with wider enterprise platforms.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and workshop facilitation skills.
• Good data analysis capability, with the ability to investigate data, identify trends and support data‑driven requirements.
• Experience with data mapping, reconciliation, validation or migration activities.
