Job summary

Uptown, operated by Vicinity Centres in Brisbane, seeks an Assistant Retail Manager to support the Retail Manager in executing engagement strategies and managing a portfolio of retailers. You will assist with day-to-day operations, leasing storage spaces, and contributing to the centre’s budget and performance.

The role focuses on delivering strong retailer relationships, driving sales targets, and facilitating smooth operations while coordinating with store managers and other teams.

Qualifications

• Experienced administrator with a retail or customer service background.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; JD Edwards knowledge advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Engage with retailers to maximise performance and collaboration.
• Assist tenancy administration and onboarding of retailers.
• Support budgeting, financial reporting, and centre budget management.
• Coordinate centre operations and relay retailer feedback.
• Prepare sales analyses and reports for the Retail Manager.
• Maintain records of tenant agreements and maintenance requests.
