Job summary

Fantastic Furniture in NSW is seeking a Retail Operations Administration Coordinator to provide essential administrative and operational support to our national store network. You'll be a key point of contact between stores, Support Office and other stakeholders, helping ensure communications, meetings and events are coordinated effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Retail Operations team.
  • Act as a key point of contact for operational enquiries from the store network.
  • Coordinate retail communications across stores and Support Office teams.
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas and assist with materials and follow-up actions.
  • Support the coordination of retail events, conferences and special projects.
  • Maintain accurate records, documents, reports and operational information.
  • Work with internal departments to ensure retail activities are delivered effectively.
  • Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding actions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and ways of working.
  • Provide additional project and operational support as required.

Your new role

As our Retail Operations Administration Coordinator, you'll provide essential administrative and operational support to our national store network and Retail Operations team. You'll act as a key point of contact between stores, Support Office teams and other stakeholders, helping ensure communications, meetings, events and operational activities are coordinated effectively. This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You'll need to be highly organised, comfortable managing competing priorities and passionate about supporting others.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Retail Operations team.
  • Act as a key point of contact for operational enquiries from our store network.
  • Coordinate retail communications across stores and Support Office teams.
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas and assist with meeting materials and follow-up actions.

About You

You're a down-to-earth and collaborative team player who brings energy, initiative and attention to detail to everything you do. You enjoy helping others, solving problems and keeping things organised in a busy environment. You'll also bring:

  • Previous experience in administration, retail operations, customer service or a similar support role.
  • A customer-focused approach and positive, can-do attitude.

  • The ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • The confidence to build relationships and work across different teams.
  • The ability to use initiative, work with integrity and follow tasks through to completion.
  • A flexible approach and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Experience using Adobe would be advantageous but is not essential.
