Pattison’s Patisserie is seeking an experienced Retail Bakery Manager for a full-time role in Sydney. You will determine product range, manage stock, set service standards and drive promotions to boost retail sales.

• Bachelor-level or diploma program in retail/hospitality management or related field.
• Minimum 1 year full-time experience in Retail Bakery/retail management or equivalent.
• Proven leadership and staff management abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with retail operations, stock control and sales management.
• Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Determine bakery product range, manage stock levels and set customer service standards for efficient retail operations.
• Develop purchasing and marketing policies, including pricing for bakery goods.
• Plan and coordinate promotions to boost customer engagement and sales.
• Oversee product sales and ensure customers receive proper assistance and information.
• Monitor inventory and maintain stock and transaction records.
• Prepare and manage the bakery's operating budget and monitor expenditures.
• Recruit, train, roster and supervise staff for daily retail operations.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and food hygiene requirements.

Pattison’s Patisserie Bakery & Café is a well-established artisan bakery and café specialising in high-quality baked goods made using traditional techniques and premium ingredients. We are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and quality products to the local community.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Bakery Manager to join our team on a full‑time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Determining the bakery's product range, managing stock levels, and establishing customer service standards to ensure efficient retail operations.
• Developing and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, including setting prices for bakery products and related goods.
• Planning and coordinating promotional and advertising activities to increase customer engagement and drive retail sales.
• Overseeing the sale of bakery products and ensuring customers receive appropriate assistance and information regarding products.
• Monitoring inventory levels, including bakery products, ingredients and packaging supplies, while maintaining accurate stock and financial transaction records.
• Preparing and managing the bakery's operational budget, monitoring expenditure and evaluating financial performance.
• Managing staff recruitment, selection, training, rostering and supervision to ensure effective daily retail operations.
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, food safety requirements and hygiene standards.

Skills and Experience Required

• At least an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Retail Management, Hospitality Management, Business or a related field - or an equivalent qualification
• At least 1 year of full‑time relevant work experience as a Retail Bakery Manager or in a similar management role or an equivalent period of relevant part‑time experience
• Strong leadership and staff management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Experience in retail operations, stock control and sales management
• Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment

Employment Details:

• Full‑time permanent position
• 38 hours per week
• Salary between $79,423 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience
