Drakes Supermarkets Wallaroo, SA, is seeking a Bakery Assistant to support day-to-day bakery operations, ensuring product availability and delivering excellent customer service.

You will assist with coaching the team, managing inventory and rosters, and contributing to a well-merchandised, safe bakery environment with on-site training and clear promotional pathways.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Bakery Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring full availability of products, and a high level of service to our customers.

Some of the key tasks include supporting the Department Manager with leading and coaching the team, ensuring inventory management compliance and accurate stock levels, merchandising, generating rosters and much more!

Availability Requirements

• Monday-Friday between 7am-6pm
• Fortnightly rotation of a Saturday or Sunday shift
• Ability to be flexible during periods of team leave.
• A willingness to support nearby stores if required.
