Prices Plus is seeking a Retail Assistant for our Charters Towers store. Casual or part-time hours, fast-paced environment, and a focus on customer care. You’ll handle queries, operate the POS, restock, and help keep the store running smoothly.

The role suits someone reliable with cash handling skills, comfortable with computer systems, and able to work flexibly across weekdays and occasional weekends. Training and staff discounts are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy retail environments.
• Able to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Quick to learn store systems and processes.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work varied shifts.

Responsabilités

• Deliver fast, friendly service to customers and handle queries.
• Operate the register and process sales, returns and exchanges.
• Unpack stock, replenish shelves and maintain presentation.
• Set up promos, adjust floor layouts as directed.
• Support the Shift Supervisor and assist as needed.
• Keep the store clean, safe and compliant with health guidelines.
