Prices Plus in Moranbah is seeking an experienced retail assistant for a fast-paced, high-volume store. You will deliver friendly service, handle queries, and process returns, while keeping checksouts moving and stock presentation sharp.

The role requires flexibility across weekdays, strong cash handling, and a proactive attitude to support the Shift Supervisor and team during peak trading times. Training and staff discounts are provided.

Qualifications

• Solid retail experience managing a busy shop floor.
• Reliable, on-time and able to work flexible shifts.
• Sound cash handling skills and competency with computers.
• Ability to take initiative and work with limited direction.
• Calm, practical under pressure with a warm attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, friendly service and handle queries.
• Operate the register and process sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Unpack stock and replenish shelves quickly.
• Set up promotions, manage ticketing and adjust floor layouts.
• Support the Shift Supervisor and the team as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety during peak times.
