Prices Plus is a family-owned Aussie variety retailer operating as Overflow and Prices Plus across Queensland and northern NSW. We are seeking an experienced retail assistant for our Charters Towers store, with flexible hours including weekends, to keep queues moving and ensure every customer feels valued.

You should be reliable, quick on your feet, with sound cash handling and computer skills, and able to balance speed with a warm, welcoming attitude on a busy shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced busy shop environment.
• Reliable with cash handling and POS operation.
• Able to use a computer and basic stock replenishment tasks.
• Customer-focused with a friendly approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, friendly service and handle queries.
• Operate the register and process sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Unpack stock and replenish shelves quickly; keep presentation sharp.
• Set up promos, adjust floor layouts as directed.
• Support the Shift Supervisor and cover team needs.
• Keep the store clean, tidy and safe during peak times.
• Follow standard health and safety guidelines.
