Job summary

Charles Parsons Schoolwear on the Gold Coast is seeking active, presentable Casual Retail Assistants for our Oxenford and Robina stores. You will engage with customers, handle sales at POS, assist with restocking and merchandising, and contribute to an enjoyable in-store experience.

Flexibility to work during school holidays, training on our POS system provided, and a supportive Retail Cluster & Store Management team.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail is preferred
• Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check (WCC) or alreadyheld is required
• Availability during school holidays and peak times (e.g., back-to-school)
• No nights, Sundays or public holidays allowed

About the role

Vacancies exist for Casual Retail Assistants for our Gold Coast stores located at Oxenford and Robina.

We are looking for an active, well presented, friendly, and motivated person who enjoys customer interaction and is motivated to learn about our various products so they can provide the best in-store experience for every customer from any number of our schools.

Friendly and approachable, with a can-do attitude to customers and team members

Ability to undertake retail functions: sales transactions at POS, greeting and listening to customer needs, assisting the store manager and other team members in restocking & merchandising, tidying, packing, cleaning and answering phone calls

Ability to be training on our POS system (Instore training is provided)

Trustworthy and accountable for instore security and transaction accuracy

Flexibility and availability to work during school holidays, and peak times e.g. back-to-school

Experience in retail clothing or children’s retail environment (preferred but not essential
