Job summary

Thomas Robert Group (TRG) is seeking a Casual Retail Assistant for our Bankstown and Croydon stores. The role focuses on delivering a personalised, welcoming and professional uniform service to families and communities of partner schools.

Requirements include retail or customer-service experience, a Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain), strong communication skills, POS proficiency, and the ability to travel between stores with peak-period availability (15 January – 15 February)

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-service roles.
• Must hold, or willing to obtain, an Employee Working with Children Check.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Be able to travel between Bankstown and Croydon stores.
• Proficiency using computerised POS systems.
• Availability during the peak back-to-school period (15 January – 15 February) with extended hours/days.

Responsibilities

• Provide a personalised, welcoming and professional uniform service to families and communities of partner schools.
• Assist customers in Bankstown and Croydon stores and process POS transactions.
• Be flexible with hours during the peak back-to-school period and travel between stores.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or other customer-service focused roles.
• Must hold, or willing to obtain, an Employee Working with Children Check.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively engage with colleagues, parents/guardians, and students.
• Be able to travel between our Bankstown and Croydon store
• Proficiency using computerised retail Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Availability during the peak back-to-school period (15 January – 15 February each year) is essential, including ability to work extended hours and additional days.
