Job summary

Company Shop Group is the UK's largest surplus redistributor of food and household products, offering training and a friendly retail environment. You will join a team at Community Shop Beechwood, working a 16 hour week on a rota basis, with hours between 7.30am and 5pm on weekdays and Saturdays.

The role focuses on great customer service and flexible hours to meet member needs. Successful candidates should be enthusiastic, reliable and communicative, with a can-do attitude.

About Us:

Company Shop Group is the largest commercial redistributor of surplus food and household products in the UK, enabling some of the biggest retailers, manufacturers, food service and logistics providers to unlock value from surplus stock, which may have otherwise gone to waste.

The surplus we handle is redistributed through our Company Shop stores, and our award-winning social enterprise Community Shop where we build stronger individuals and more confident communities. Details of location and shift pattern:

Location: Community Shop Beechwood, Manor House, Beechwood Drive, Beechwood, Wirral, CH43 7ZU

Hours: 16 hour contract per week working 4 out of 6 days on a rota basis. The hours of work are between 7.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday and 7.30am and 3pm Saturday

Please note: the successful candidate will be required to be flexible with their working hours.

Rate of pay: £12.75 per hour, paid every 4 weeks

We are looking for hard working individuals that are enthusiastic and enjoy a challenge. Someone who enjoys meeting people and puts our members at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that each and every one of our members gets the shopping experience they deserve. In this role, you will work as part of a team within a busy, retail environment. Previous retail experience may be useful, however full training will be provided.
