Job summary

Company Shop Group's Community Shop Beechwood seeks a Team Leader to motivate a small team, ensure excellent member experiences, and support daily operations. The role includes rota-based hours across 5 of 6 days, with training provided and a focus on effective teamwork in a busy retail setting.

Reporting to the Team Manager, you will help maintain high standards, promote a culture of safety and waste reduction, and develop colleagues through coaching and daily huddles.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is useful but not required; full training provided.
• Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.
• Flexible with working hours and on-call needs.

Responsibilities

• Motivate the team to deliver day-to-day department tasks.
• Coordinate and communicate with colleagues to maintain service quality.
• Uphold Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
• Support daily huddles and coach colleagues.
• Assist Team Manager with workload planning and delegation.
