Job summary

The Diamond Pool & Spa Co. Pty. Ltd. in Malvern VIC is seeking a full-time retail & admin sales assistant for our Malvern store, warehouse and repair centre. No prior experience in the pool industry is required as we will provide training and support.

You will handle bookings, quotes, emails, in-store support, water testing, and sales using our POS system. The role requires accuracy, reliability and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a small team.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for admin tasks.
• Strong reading and numerical skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg.
• Willingness to learn new skills through training.
• Able to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Creating bookings and basic problem solving over the phone
• Creating quotes and general administration
• Checking and actioning emails
• Assisting customers in store
• Completing water samples and analysis
• Processing sales with POS system
• Ordering and processing inward and outward goods
• Maintain stock levels and inventory counts
• Robotic Cleaner repairs (training provided)
• General warehouse ad hoc tasks as needed

We are a leading swimming pool retail store and maintenance company seeking a full-time retail & admin sales assistant for our Malvern based store, warehouse and repair centre. This role will work within a small team, requiring the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. No experience in our industry is needed as we will teach you everything you need to know.

Key responsibilities

• Creating bookings and basic problem solving over the phone
• Creating quotes and general administration
• Checking and actioning emails
• Assisting customers instore
• Completing water samples and analysis
• Processing sales with POS system
• Ordering and processing inward and outward goods
• Maintain stock levels and inventory counts
• Robotic Cleaner repairs (no prior experience required, training provided)
• General warehouse ad hoc tasks as needed

About you

• Excellent attention to detail
• Great work ethic and punctual
• Sound communication, reading and numerical skills
• Ability to lift approximately 20kgs safely
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Valid Forklift licence would be helpful but not necessary
• Rotating roster for Saturday work (until 2pm)
• Dedicated and confident person able to learn various skills and be open to ongoing training
